Harbor Group Global, the Norfolk-based real estate company that owned and managed – and re-invented – the Durham Plaza neighbor hood shopping mall in north Durham over the past 17 years, features sold the middle to a new investor towards area.
An affiliate of Nassimi Realty, a family-owned real estate industry based in New York City, features paid $11.5 million for 234, 500-square-foot retail center at 2000 Avondale Drive, relating to county home files. Nassimi's only various other residential property in vermont is the Sycamore Square retail center in Fayetteville.

Durham Plaza, during the time of the offer, had been 90 percent rented. Anchor tenants feature a Compare ingredients supermarket that changed Winn-Dixie, an E.C. Barton's Surplus Warehouse and Kimbrell's Furniture that replaced the Carmike 7 movie theatre, and a large Lots and Harbor Freight & Tools that replaced K-Mart during the last few years. The center, located off Interstate 85, ended up being built-in the 1970s.
